This fish and chips are definitely the best. It is nice that they had a restaurant next room. We had haddock and chips with mushy peas and a glass of red wine, delicious! The woman who served us was very friendly.

I don’t do reviews unless it’s exceptional. I feel that Eddies deserve it.
I had cod , chips , peas , tartar sauce with an extra curry sauce and a pot of tea. I could’ve had alcohol but chose to do the traditional cuppa.
The fish was cooked to perfection falling apart and the batter, crispy . Chips homemade, no lie It was the best fish and chips!
It was nice to be able to eat inside . I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and would highly recommend.

Delicious haddock in a light crispy non fatty batter. Cooked to order and served with tartar sauce and garden peas. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the service excellent.

I made a casual stop at Eddie’s as it always looks nice when I have walked past during day, I was quickly seated in the bright and spacious restaurant area.
There is a good selection of traditional favourites , I settled on Scampi, chips and peas plus gravy (it’s also licensed so I had a bottled beer).
The excellent portion of food was perfectly cooked, I especially loved the gravy on the chips, which were clearly fresh and not frozen, the scampi and tartare sauce were lovely. I will be back to try the haddock next time.
It’s good to see a well run family business and also had a chance to meet Sarah the owner / manager who is very passionate about continuously improving the menu and customer experience.
