I made a casual stop at Eddie’s as it always looks nice when I have walked past during day, I was quickly seated in the bright and spacious restaurant area.
There is a good selection of traditional favourites , I settled on Scampi, chips and peas plus gravy (it’s also licensed so I had a bottled beer).
The excellent portion of food was perfectly cooked, I especially loved the gravy on the chips, which were clearly fresh and not frozen, the scampi and tartare sauce were lovely. I will be back to try the haddock next time.
It’s good to see a well run family business and also had a chance to meet Sarah the owner / manager who is very passionate about continuously improving the menu and customer experience.
