It is nice that they had a restaurant next room. We had haddock and chips with mushy peas and a glass of red wine, delicious! I feel that Eddies deserve it.\nI had cod , chips , peas , tartar sauce with an extra curry sauce and a pot of tea. I could\u2019ve had alcohol but chose to do the traditional cuppa.\nThe fish was cooked to perfection falling apart and the batter, crispy . Chips homemade, no lie It was the best fish and chips!\nIt was nice to be able to eat inside . was quickly seated in the bright and spacious restaurant area.\n\nThere is a good selection of traditional favourites , I settled on Scampi, chips and peas plus gravy (it\u2019s also licensed so I had a bottled beer).\n\nThe excellent portion of food was perfectly cooked, I especially loved the gravy on the chips, which were clearly fresh and not frozen, the scampi and tartare sauce were lovely.
